What the workforce will look like in 2020, 2030, or 2050 doesn’t really matter.
The numbers are interesting, but how much will they really affect your business?
Or to put it another way, the question is this: do you have the employees you need today and, if not, where are your going to find them?
Unless you are the size of a Walmart, just work on having the best workforce you can have today and you will be ready to win in the future.
Bottom line: Remember, if you don’t win the War for Talent in 2013, you won’t be around to wage that war in 2020.
