Hiring Wisdom: Do Your Actions Show You Really Want Them Back?

I just received an email with the subject line “We Want You Back” from a new health club that came into my area about six months ago.

I did take advantage of their pre-opening special, but after the trial period, I decided to drop the membership and stay with my old club.

As you can imagine, they did not make it very easy for me to do this. Now, I keep getting emails from them saying they want me back.

Something is wrong with their formula. If they really do want me back, they should have made me feel good when I left!
