Anka Wittenberg is the Chief Diversity & Inclusion Officer (CDIO) at SAP, responsible for the development and implementation of SAP’s Diversity and Inclusion strategy globally, ensuring sustainable business success. SAP believes that diversity is a source of innovative strength that allows the company to better meet and understand the needs of its customers.
Anka joined SAP in 2011 as the HR Business Partner Lead for the OPD Board Area, responsible for 29,000 employees (2012). She has also been leading the HR teams in China, India, and Ireland. She reports to Dr. Werner Brandt, member of the SAP Executive Board.
Prior to SAP, Anka gained extensive international HR experience, most recently heading Corporate HR globally at Benteler International AG, overseeing 25,000 employees. Anka also held executive HR positions at General Electric and TRW Automotive. She is a member of the supervisory board of Westfalen AG, Germany and board member of the Childhood Foundation Germany.
