Steve Purkapile, GBA, is Regional Director of Financial Consulting for global employee benefits insurance brokerage Hub International. He has been in the insurance industry for 30 years. He has expertise with self-funded plans and stop loss insurance. His focus in recent years has been on data analytics, which he uses to recommend and assist in implementing measurable health plan management and pharmacy solutions. Steve has been able to share this research through speaking engagements and articles and has also written several articles on the financial impact and challenges facing employers related to healthcare reform.
Steve obtained a liberal arts degree from Ambassador University in Pasadena, California and earned his GBA certificate from IFEBP as well as his FMLI certificate from LOMA.
