What do competency models and jean jackets have in common?

In her presentation at DisruptHr Denver in 2015, she challenged the use of competency models as “static and inflexible.” “Does your organization strive for continuous improvement, value diverse skill sets, or fluid responsibilities? Then competency models are not a good fit for your organization.”
