EEO-1 Survey Deadline Extended to June 1

The EEOC is extending the filing deadline for the 2017 EEO-1 survey until June 1.

Although the majority of employers met the original March 31 deadline, so many employers requested last minute technical assistance with the electronic filing that the agency was swamped, slowing its response.

According to a report on HR Dive, the agency said, “As a result, we received a number of inquiries from filers requesting additional time to file their 2017 EEO-1 Reports. In response to these requests we made the decision on Friday, April 20th to extend the filling deadline for the EEO-1 Survey to Friday, June 1, 2018.”
