Engagement is the key to employee retention and here’s an easy-to-implement, cost-free, way to get some going.

Make it a practice to ask your people a Question of the Week – either individually or as a question up for discussion at the weekly staff meeting.

Some examples include:

  • What could we do to make your jobs easier?
  • What do we spend too much time on around here?
  • What’s the neatest app on your phone?
  • Can you think of any ways we could make our time together more fun?

People love to share opinions, ideas, and give feedback. This is an easy way to keep them involved and engaged as well as to gather a lot of great ideas and information.
