Empathy is one of the most (over)used buzzwords in HR. But what does it actually look like in practice? What should it look like?

These questions were recently explored in an ERE article. They’re especially timely questions for every HR professional to ponder. Indeed, there’s a lot of information on ERE, TLNT’s sister site that focuses on talent acquisition, that is important to HR.

That’s why we’re launching “Happening on ERE,” a weekly series that will highlight recently published ERE articles to help elevate your knowledge and work as an HR professional.

In this inaugural series post, ERE strategy columnist Mary Faulkner writes about how to infuse empathy into your hiring practices in very concrete, practical ways. In other words, this is not the usual BS article on empathy that you’ve probably seen a hundred times elsewhere.

Head over to ERE to read “Strategy: Not Your Typical Article About Empathy in Hiring.”
