In today’s world, most of us will lose a great employee from time-to-time, so it’s best if we learn to live with that.

Fact is, if your employees aren’t growing out of the job they’re in ─ and you aren’t helping them do that ─ they probably aren’t worth your continued investment.

On of my former employees recently got in touch and I learned that, in the past 10 years, she has steadily built a successful career of increasing responsibility and rewards and she just wanted to say “thank you” for all I had taught her.

One of the best incentives for great people to come to work for you is that they will be even better a year from now ─ as well as worth more money to you and to everyone else.
